The most awesome character from TV series.
Here’s the deal. TV series are addictive. They’re fun but addictive coz they’ll make you stay in front of your telly and make you count down the seconds before they start. Missed one episode and you feel like it’s the end of the world. Thank God for DVDs though.
Another reason is the story line. One cliff hanger after another. Long winding conflict (and more than one conflict, mind you) that keep you on the tips of your toes begging to know what's going to happen next.
But the downside of tv series is once they reach their third season -or some series suck while they’re still in the second season- the storyline will be messy, all over the place; lots of conflicts that make your head spin. They even kill or made your favourite character magically disappear. Annoying is the worst understatement of the year.
Now let me fangirling my way on tv series that still awesome even after 100 episodes (5thseason and they will squeeze their way for 6th season) the one and only Supernatural. Put two brothers on the road in mighty muscle car and let them travel across the country to save people and kill things.That’s hot enough. Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Sam (Jared Padalecki) kick serious ass throughout the seasons but season 4 brings the word kick serious ass to a different dimension.
Eric Kripke is a pure blood genius. We should celebrate Eric Kripke’s Day and make it official public holiday all over the world. Who can ever guess he brought angels in Supernatural? Not your typical fluffy, cherubic, cloud hopping kind of angel but smug, sly and bad ass to the core. The most BAMF of them all: Castiel
This is the boldest fashion statement. Castiel pulls this look without looking like a creepy flasher. His trench coat is a magical being. Look how it flaps around whenever Castiel does his Caswalk.
In season 5 Castiel walked into Lucifer's trap literally. But seriously Lucy you underestimate this BAMF. He went to hell, patched Dean soul and brought him to life and you expect this ring of fire will stop him? Psshhh..please..
Castiel first appearance from Lazarus Rising season 4. Look at his eyes and facial expression. Dean didn't believe he's an angel. That particular face screaming "Bitch please!"
Meeting the devil himself. Castiel's ruthless, no non sense kind of angel and loyal to the core. "You will not take Sam Winchester. I won't let you." In your face Lucy!!
Checking the Devil's Trap wondering how Allistair escaped. Even in this posture Castiel looks so dignified and serious you don't wanna mess with him.
Castiel's appearance in Supernatural creates world wide sensation. There are million of fandoms dedicate solely for him.
Castiel's bad ass moment. The wind howled, the door slammed open, the lamps shattered and he walked calmly into the barn. He was shot by both Dean and Bobby and stabbed by Dean, yet he did not even blink. How kick ass is that?
Close up. You don't wanna mess with this one. Ever!
Castiel makes everyday activities look sexy
He kills for his belief. In season 5, he saved the brothers from Zachariah too many times.

Conclusion:
Castiel is a character that never been brought to any show. Something new always trigger our curiosity and interest so fans are putting him high on pedestal. Misha Collins doing such a superb job in playing this BAMF character. Eric Kripke's Day definitely appropriate. If he choose another actor then Castiel won't be what he's today.
