Mood: Annoyed

How difficult it is to find a piece of postcard? The answer is: effing hard. I guess technology could be blamed for this. Now is the era for e mail, sms, mms and all that to the point people don’t write letter or postcard anymore. Before this postcards can be found almost everywhere from bookstores to post offices but now they are limited to souvenir shops and airports which I think kind of pathetic and annoying.

The last time I sent letter through snail-mail was like in the year 2001 and I was too lazy to search for new pen pals after that when I can connect with each other via the Net. Yes I admit Internet makes interaction with complete strangers easier, cheaper and faster.

But yesterday a friend tweeted about receiving a postcard from random stranger in Estonia through postcrossing. Curious I clicked on the link provided in her tweet and registered my name. Then I received 3 random addresses from US and Italy. Eager to see their responses I went to book shops around Bangi searching for postcard this afternoon but what made me cuss like there’s no tomorrow was they are none. Seriously I went to 4 book shop and post office but there is no postcard at all. Nil. How fucked is that? Now I have to put my plan on hold. When I don’t need the freaking postcards I can find them everywhere I go but now seriously I can’t stand this fuckery so excuse me I’m going to swear like a sailor and bitch on how unfair of this whole situation somewhere else.
