Love looks forward, hate looks back, anxiety has eyes all over its head. –Mignon McLaughlin
This is the last week of this semester. As usual it will end with examination week. But this time it will be special, memorable even because this will be my last time to sit in the exam hall as undergraduate. I am way too nervous and worry about lots of things. My pessimistic nature kicks in with full force. Eventhough I try to my best, those gloomy thoughts still cling in my head. What a nightmare...
This semester turns out quite lucky for me because I don’t have double papers (read 2 papers in one day) and there are some gaps between papers. I guess luck is on my side this time. Before this every semester I got double papers and exam back to back without any gap. Those times were quiet crazy when I think about it yet somehow I did it. I guess there was a saying “you work harder and perform better once you are under pressure”.
To celebrate our last year in the university my friends came out with the idea of BBQ Night on 20th March 2007. It was a lot of fun. That day we bought chickens, marinated them and roast them ourselves. You can even smell the barbeque chicken from the cafeteria. That night was the first time I ate so much chicken (4 pieces exactly and there were not small) and thank god I don’t have stomach ache the next day. When we started enjoying our little feast suddenly there was lightning and thunder so we have to move everything indoor. Eventhough we were indoor, it didn’t stop us from having fun. There were games (Truth and Dare included *evil snickers*) more laughter and more eating. Definitely a night to remember. To all my friends (whether you join the BENL BBQ Night or not) I would like to wish you all the best. Thanks for being such a wonderful friends. Good luck in your final exam and take good care of yourself.
